Diane
Lowman
(Trainer/Farrier):
Diane
has
been
involved
with
horses
for
40
years.
She
was
on
the
Virginia
Beach
Police
Mounted
Patrol
Unit
for
15
years.
During
that
time,
Diane
employed
Virginia
to
train
the
Mounted
Unit
as
well
as
enhancing
Diane's
skills
as
the
Mounted
Unit
Supervisor
over
a
five
year
period
of
time.
Thus,
she
has
been
affiliated
with
CTC
since
1989.
Since
January
2007,
Diane
has
been
a
full
time
employee
specializing
in
conditioning,
ground
work,
and
being
the
resident
farrier.
She
also
competes
in
Hunter
Pleasure
with
her
10
year
old
mare,
Anita
Spot
K.

Ryan
Pope
(Trainer):
Ryan
grew
up
on
a
quarter
horse
farm
watching
his
father
train
western,
hunter
and
halter
horses.
In
1997,
Ryan
entered
the
Arab
horse
world
as
a
groom,
working
his
way
up
to
assistant
trainer.
Since
starting
with
CTC
in
2005as
a
trainer,
he
has
become
an
important
part
of
the
CTC
Team.
His
favorite
pastime
is
breaking
the
babies.
During
shows,
the
beautiful
set
up
of
our
barn
is
credited
to
Ryan.
He
has
great
attention
for
detail.
In
2007,
he
won
the
grand
prize
for
the
best
setup
at
Region
12.
Many
of
you
will
notice
how
beautiful
our
horses
are.
Ryan
has
a
particular
grooming
method
for
our
horses
that
is
matched
by
none.
Ryan
has
won
many
A
show
classes
and
this
year
he
has
taken
home
two
Reserve
Championships,
Region
12
and
Region
15,
in
the
HA
Hunter
Pleasure
Junior
Horse
class.

Sophia
Saunders
(Business
Manager):
Sophia
has
been
involved
with
horses
for
15
years.
In
2004,
she
became
a
client
of
CTC's.
In
February
2005,
she
worked
as
a
groom
for
the
farm.
Then
in
July
2006,
she
became
the
Business
Manager.
She
has
a
bachelor's
degree
in
Business
Administration
from
American
University.
She
competes
in
Hunter
Pleasure
with
her
9
year
old
gelding,
LA
Shahcago
Blues.
